The Library will be hosting an "Around the Table Discussion" pertaining to Genealogy and Family History in the Board Room, Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
Whether it be sharing your discovery of how you found an Ancestor you had been researching or a potential link to someone famous (or infamous).
So don't be shy! Bring your question ... and your knowledge. And even a copy of your own Family History to add to the Library's growing collection (or let us make a copy).
Who knows? Maybe you discover a new tool to help with your research or a new database you've never heard of. Or maybe you find out your related to someone in the room.
Dorian LaChance, Mississippi Magic Man, will be at the Caldwell Parish Library, Monday, June 1, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. to help us KICKOFF our Summer Reading Program with a brand new show entitled: "Paleo Palooza, Dig In For Dino-Sized Fun.
You do not want to miss this show of comedy, magic, and puppets with a perfect blend that has created a totally unique, one-of-a-kind, educationally significant program that the children — and PARENTS — will NEVER forget!

The library has partnered with Bricks R Us to offer a unique way to remember family members, honor friends, and to celebrate special occasions with a lasting gift of an engraved brick in our Davis Memorial Reading Garden at the library.
You can also add a donor's brick to your order (an exact duplicate of the brick you ordered with a felt backing), a souvenir brick (a smaller duplicate that can fit in the palm of your hand), and/or a laser-printed certificate.
All you have to do is click on the brick to be taken to our donor site where you will be able to fill out an online order for one of our memorial bricks.
We now have a flag retirement box in the front entrance for properly disposing of worn U. S. flags.

The Dinosaur Experience will be at the Caldwell Parish Library on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. to help us celebrate Summer Reading.
