A Genealogy Workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 1:00 to 3:00 pm at the Caldwell Parish Library. Explore “Getting Started On-Line” presented by Delanea Beckley. Bring a name, birth or death date, and location of an ancestor to start your journey of compiling your family history.
The library has partnered with Bricks R Us to offer a unique way to remember family members, honor friends, and to celebrate special occasions with a lasting gift of an engraved brick in our Davis Memorial Reading Garden at the library.
You can also add a donor's brick to your order (an exact duplicate of the brick you ordered with a felt backing), a souvenir brick (a smaller duplicate that can fit in the palm of your hand), and/or a laser-printed certificate.
All you have to do is click on the brick to be taken to our donor site where you will be able to fill out an online order for one of our memorial bricks.
We now have a flag retirement box in the front entrance for properly disposing of worn U. S. flags.
