The library has partnered with Bricks R Us to offer a unique way to remember family members, honor friends, and to celebrate special occasions with a lasting gift of an engraved brick in our Davis Memorial Reading Garden at the library.
You can also add a donor's brick to your order (an exact duplicate of the brick you ordered with a felt backing), a souvenir brick (a smaller duplicate that can fit in the palm of your hand), and/or a laser-printed certificate.
All you have to do is click on the brick to be taken to our donor site where you will be able to fill out an online order for one of our memorial bricks.

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, Second Lady Usha Vance invites students in grades K-8 to take part in her Summer Reading Challenge and celebrate America through the power of books. From June 1 through September 4, students who read 12 books will be eligible for prizes and a chance to visit the nation’s capital, Washington D.C. This is a special opportunity for young readers to explore stories about our history, our heroes, and dream about the future. We encourage you to spread the word throughout Caldwell Parish. To learn more and participate in this amazing challenge, simply go to the library and ask your librarian how to sign up and get started.

We now have a flag retirement box in the front entrance for properly disposing of worn U. S. flags.
