Louisiana Delta Community College will begin offering free classes once more at the library.
The classes will now be offered in the evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Mrs. Tammi Hartsfield will be the new instructor.
If interested, you can scan the QR code to enroll today or come into the library and fill out a paper application.
The library once again has two working computers in the Genealogy Room. We ask that these be used specifically for Genealogy research but can make exceptions if the rest of the computers are in use.
The computers have links to numerous genealogy and historical resources that our own genealogist uses. If you know of any resources that we don't have available, please let us know and we will do our best to add them.
These computers will also print to the Circulation Desk (standard printing rates apply). If you need to print in color, let library staff know and we will gladly assist you.
Library Patrons now have access to free e-book copies of some of the Salem Press and Grey House Publishing titles the library has purchased.

The library now has Elder Abuse pamphlets from the Elderly Protective Services (EPS).
Learn what the EPS actually is, how to contact them, the definition of elderly abuse, signs of elder abuse, who should contact the EPS, what should be reported, what happens after a report is made, the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU), and how to report suspected abuse or neglect through several different channels.
The library has a new public computer in a new spot. It is located on the study carrel across from the study room. All of our public computers are free to use.
This particular computer is not currently hooked to any printers, so we ask that you keep this in mind before using it.
If you must print, let the library staff know and we can assist you.
The library has partnered with Bricks R Us to offer engraved memorial bricks that will be on display in our Davis Memorial Reading Garden at the library.
The Caldwell Parish School Board has partnered with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to get free books into the hands of Caldwell Parish children from birth to age 5. You can scan the QR code above or visit www.imaginationlibrary.com.
The library currently has OUR copies of books from the list of this program on display in the Children's Room. These books are available for check out to patrons. PLEASE NOTE that the library DOES NOT own copies of all of the titles.
