Mrs. Markaye Russell, Nutrition and Community Health Agent for LSU Ag, will be at the library Wednesday, September 23, at 12:00 p.m., discussing foods that boost your immune system.

The Caldwell Parish School Board has partnered with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to get free books into the hands of Caldwell Parish children from birth to age 5. You can scan the QR code above or visit www.imaginationlibrary.com.

The library currently has OUR copies of books from the list of this program on display in the Children's Room. These books are available for check out to patrons. PLEASE NOTE that the library DOES NOT own copies of all of the titles.

You can see the current Blue List Selections broken down by age groups in the graphic below. Titles are subject to change.

Louisiana Delta Community College is currently looking for a Part-time Adult Education Instructor to teach evening classes at the Caldwell Parish Library. Classes will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. You can scan the QR code for more information and to submit your application.

PLEASE NOTE: There will be no classes at the library until a new teacher is hired.

Here you can purchase memorial bricks to honor your loved ones or simply leave a donation. Bricks will be placed in the Library's reading garden.

The library has partnered with Bricks R Us to offer engraved memorial bricks that will be on display in our Davis Memorial Reading Garden at the library.

The Library Staff and its Board of Directors would like to personally thanks all of our patrons and the residents of this parish for their continued support.

We now have a flag retirement box in the front entrance for properly disposing of worn U. S. flags.
