OCTOBER 24
Main Street Columbia will be hosting a Kayak Event Saturday, October 24th, from 7:00 a.m. - until.
The event will begin at the Columbia Boat Docks and end at the Charles Allen Ouachita River Nature Preserve (Thompson Bayou) located at 1497 Fisher Road.
Nature hikes will be led at the Nature Preserve by ULM Biology Students and Faculty after kayaking.
A food truck will also be at the preserve.

The Ouachita Parish Public Library will have its Grand Opening for its new location Thursday, October 29, at 2:00 p.m.
Its located at 1000 Oliver Road, Monroe, in the old Stein Mart building.
